DESCRIPTION

926522-2 is a Positive Lock Receptacle terminal designed for secure and reliable mating with FASTON connector tabs. This receptacle features a locking dimple mechanism that locks onto mating tabs containing holes, providing enhanced safety by preventing accidental disconnection unless the integrally designed depressor is deliberately deflected. The terminal is manufactured from 6/6 Nylon material with UL 94 V0 flame rating and natural color finish, ensuring durability and compliance with safety standards. The receptacle offers reduced insertion force for ease of assembly and can be terminated by automatic or semi-automatic equipment, making it suitable for applications in automotive wiring, industrial controls, and other hard-to-reach assembly areas such as under dashboards and recessed switch tabs.
