The 879373-1 is a New Ocean Applicator Series terminal crimping applicator from TE Connectivity designed for high-precision wire and insulation crimping in lead and harness manufacturing. It features a modular platform with two ram interface styles (Atlantic or Pacific), three feed options (mechanical, pneumatic, or servo), and tool-less adjustment mechanisms for both wire crimp height and insulation crimp settings. The wire crimp height adjustment offers a range of 0 to 1.5 mm with 0.01 mm step increments, while insulation adjustment provides multiple step sizes (0.19 mm, 0.10 mm, or 0.05 mm) based on terminal application requirements. Standard features include pre-feed and post-feed cam configurations, cut and no-cut carrier options, adjustable terminal stripper, spring-loaded terminal hold down, and a mechanical counter for cycle tracking.
