DESCRIPTION
The 817786-SF is a dual-stage IEC inlet filter designed for power supply EMC/EMI suppression in industrial and medical applications. It features a compact design with excellent performance-to-size ratio, supporting rated currents from 2 to 20 A at 40°C maximum operating temperature, and operates across DC to 400 Hz frequency range. The filter incorporates dual-stage inductance and capacitance networks with typical inductance values (L1) ranging from 4.8 mH at 2 A down to 0.3 mH at 20 A, and capacitance values including Cx of 0.1 µF and Cy stages of 2.2 nF and 1 nF. It is available in standard and medical (B-type) versions with snap-in or rear-mount configurations, featuring IEC C14 inlet for 2–15 A ratings and IEC C20 inlet for 16–20 A ratings, and operates at 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz with high potential test ratings up to 2500 VAC. This filter is ideal for medical devices, industrial power supplies, and equipment requiring high EMI attenuation and regulatory compliance per IEC 60320-1 and IEC/EN 60601-1 standards.
