DESCRIPTION
811862-SF is a current-compensated EMC/EMI choke from the Schaffner RB series, engineered for high-current power line filtering in industrial and power electronics applications. This horizontal 2-wire low inductance choke is rated for 50 A continuous current with a nominal inductance of 0.3 mH per path and operates across a wide voltage range of 600 VAC or 1000 VDC. The device features differential mode (DM) peak current capability of 270 A at 25°C and 189 A at 100°C, with common mode (CM) peak current of 0.58 A at 25°C and 0.40 A at 100°C, ensuring robust saturation performance. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and support for both convection and forced cooling (3 m/s), the choke delivers reliable EMI suppression in demanding environments such as power supplies, motor drives, and industrial control systems.
