DESCRIPTION

749080-1 is an AMPLIMITE .050 Series shielded backshell kit designed for subminiature D-type connectors, Series III, featuring straight exit male jackscrews in Style A configuration. The kit includes stainless steel or steel jackscrews with black electroless nickel plating, polyolefin or PVC jackscrew caps in black, 2-56 threaded screws in stainless steel, and a zinc backshell with nickel plating over copper. The strain relief staple is constructed from steel with tin-lead plating over nickel, and the kit supplies one strain relief staple, two 2-56 threaded jackscrews, upper and lower shields, and machine screws, with the connector purchased separately. This backshell kit is ideal for applications requiring EMI/RFI shielding and secure cable strain relief in compact electronic assemblies.
