DESCRIPTION

The 35216K8FT is a Type 3521 Series SMD power resistor manufactured by TE Connectivity, designed for automotive and high-reliability applications with AEC-Q200 Grade 4 qualification. This thick film chip resistor delivers 2 watts continuous power at 70°C ambient temperature with a maximum working voltage of 250 volts DC and 500 volts maximum overload rating. The device features compact dimensions (6.35 mm × 3.20 mm × 0.55 mm) with a high purity alumina substrate, silver inner termination with nickel barrier and tin outer coating, and is supplied on 7-inch reels containing 4000 pieces in embossed tape format. Resistance values range from 1O to 1MO with 1% tolerance (F grade), and the resistor exhibits excellent thermal stability with resistance change rates of ±0.5% ±0.1O across temperature cycling (-55°C to +155°C) and humidity testing. This low-cost, high-reliability component is ideal for automotive electronics, industrial power applications, and high-frequency circuits where small size-to-power ratio and AEC-Q200 compliance are essential requirements.
