DESCRIPTION

6-1971798-2 is a 6-position header assembly with boss, part of TE Connectivity's second generation GRACE INERTIA 2.5mm pitch connector series designed for wire-to-board signal conduction applications. This header features Key B keying configuration, an inertia locking mechanism to prevent half-mating defects, and dual beam contact design for enhanced reliability and durability. The connector is rated for 50V AC/DC and 3.0A maximum current, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to 105°C. The housing is made from UL94 V-0 rated nylon material and is compatible with Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) components. Common applications include large and small home appliances, vending machines, and industrial control equipment where reliable wire-to-board connections are required.
