DESCRIPTION

The 6-1625892-8 is a flame-proof power metal oxide film resistor from the ROX series, designed for high-power applications requiring compact form factors and superior reliability. The resistive element comprises a metal oxide film deposited on a ceramic former and is protected by a flameproof coating that withstands overload conditions without flame or mechanical damage. It features excellent long-term stability with resistance change rates of ±(2% + 0.05O) maximum under temperature cycling and ±5% to ±10% under 1,000-hour load life testing depending on resistance value. The resistor operates over a temperature range of 55°C to 200°C with rated continuous working voltages and resistance ranges varying by specific type designation. These resistors are recommended for use in line protection circuits, power supply applications, and other industrial environments where flameproof construction and high power handling are essential.
