DESCRIPTION

5-917698-1 is a 2-position double lock plate designed for 2.5 mm Signal Double Lock (2.5 SDL) connectors used in wire-to-board and wire-to-wire applications. The plate is manufactured from UL94V-0, 6/6 nylon glass-filled material in natural color and features dimensions of 6.5 mm (A) by 4.3 mm (B). This component is compatible with plug housing 917686-1 and cap housing 316086-1, providing secure locking functionality for connector assemblies. The double lock plate is RoHS compliant and is commonly used in high-density connector systems with a 2.5 mm signal centerline, supporting wire gauges from 26-22 AWG (0.12-0.35 mm²) and 22-20 AWG (0.30-0.53 mm²).
