DESCRIPTION

The 5796055-2 is a high-profile, 68-position receptacle connector designed for termination to a printed circuit board. It features a right-angle, thru-hole mount style with special PCB retention features for a secure connection. The connector has two rows of phosphor bronze contacts with a centerline spacing of 0.80 mm, plated with Gold (30) over Palladium Nickel in the mating area and Tin on the termination area. Housed in a black, UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic body and shielded with a tin-over-copper plated steel shell, this component is built for durability and reliable signaling. It is suitable for creating robust board-level interconnections in various electronic devices.
