5749111-7 is a 70-position AMPLIMITE .050 Series cable plug connector with standard termination covers, designed for high-density D-subminiature interconnect applications. This connector features rails and latchblocks for secure mating, with a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) centerline grid spacing. The housing and covers are made from thermoplastic rated 94V-0, while contacts are phosphor bronze with duplex gold plating (minimum .000030 inch / 0.00076 mm) on the mating end and tin on the termination end. The connector is designed for use with 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²) wire, solid or 7-strand, with insulation diameter of .029-.036 inch (0.74-0.89 mm). This connector requires a backshell kit for complete assembly and is suitable for data and device applications requiring reliable, high-density connections.
