DESCRIPTION

5748904-1 is an AMPLIMITE subminiature D plug connector designed for right-angle PCB mounting applications. This shell size 2 connector features 15 contact positions with size 20 DF posted pin contacts preloaded, and includes boardlocks for secure PCB attachment along with 4-40 threaded inserts for mounting hardware. The connector has dimensions of 1.550 inches (39.37 mm) for dimension A and 1.312 inches (33.32 mm) for dimension B, with a recommended PCB board thickness of 0.062 inches (1.58 mm). The contact finish uses plating code A (gold flash on mating end, tin on termination end, with entire contact nickel underplated). This RoHS compliant connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable signal connections in industrial, computing, and communication equipment.
