DESCRIPTION

The 5531216-3 is a low-pressure, Mini-Tandem Spring receptacle contact intended for crimp snap-in applications. It accommodates a wire size range of 26-22 AWG (0.14-0.32 mm²) and an insulation diameter of 0.64-1.37 mm. This contact features Plating A, which consists of a .000030 inch gold inlay on the contact area and matte tin on the crimp area, all over a nickel underplate. Supplied in strip form, it is designed for automated termination with AMP-O-LECTRIC or AMP-O-MATIC machines and provides a reliable, high-durability connection within Mini-Tandem Spring housings.
