DESCRIPTION

53446-1 is an AMPOWER quick disconnect terminal designed for terminating large power cables in transportation industry applications. This Style A terminal accommodates 250 MCM commercial wire size (650/24 railroad equivalent) with a maximum inside diameter of 1.060 inches (26.92 mm). Featuring heavy-duty brass construction with silver plating, it provides high strength and excellent vibration resistance while maintaining full current-carrying capacity. The innovative pin and groove design enables fast, positive terminal engagement with complete detachability. Ideal for traction motors, generators, transformers, and other electrical equipment subjected to shock, vibration, and long continuous operation periods.
