The 52596-1 is an AMPOWER quick disconnect terminal specifically engineered for traction motor and car body lead connections in the transportation industry. This Style A terminal accommodates 3/0 AWG (450/24 railroad) wire and features a maximum inside diameter of 0.812 inches (20.62 mm), providing reliable termination for large power cables. The terminal combines heavy-duty brass construction with silver plating to deliver high strength, excellent vibration resistance, and superior corrosion protection while maintaining full current-carrying capacity. It incorporates an innovative pin and groove design for fast, positive engagement with complete detachability, and includes a sight hole for visual verification.
