The 5-2306317-5 is a SOLARLOK PV Edge decentralized junction box designed for traditional mid-panel applications with East-West foil orientation using Omega-Clip mounting and fixing tape. This clamping and non-potted junction box is rated for 1500V DC (UL and TUV/IEC approved) with a standard current rating of 15A and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +115°C. The unit features an integrated PV4-S interface, IP68 waterproof protection (7m/24 hours), and a humidity control vent, enabling quick installation without potting curing delays. The housing is constructed from polyhenyl ethers (PPE) and polystyrene (PS) materials, providing durability and thermal management.
