DESCRIPTION

The 521212-2 is an ultra-fast fully insulated FASTON receptacle designed for terminating 18-14 AWG solid, fused, and stranded wire with .250 series mating tabs. This one-piece fully insulated premier line receptacle features a translucent nylon housing (UL 94 V-0 rated) that completely encapsulates the tab and receptacle when mated, allowing visual inspection of the crimp and wire termination. The terminal is tin-plated brass with dimensions of 0.205 inches (5.21 mm) width, 0.370 inches (9.40 mm) length, and 0.585 inches (14.86 mm) depth, designed for correct lead-in of the tab and full mating with a variety of tab styles including those with shoulders. The receptacle meets UL-310 specification for quick connect terminals and is UL listed under File No. E-66717, with a maximum operating temperature of +105°C. Common applications include automotive electrical systems, appliance wiring, and industrial control circuits where reliable, insulated quick-disconnect connections are required.
