DESCRIPTION

5-160490-1 is a FASTON uninsulated receptacle terminal designed for electrical connector applications requiring reliable wire termination. The terminal features a mating area interface of 4.75 × 0.81 mm (.187 × .032 in) with a straight receptacle style and F-crimp attachment method for stranded wire. It accommodates wire sizes from 0.50 to 1.50 mm² (20–15 AWG) with an insulation diameter range of 2.36–3.30 mm (.093–.130 in), and is constructed from brass material with normal insertion force characteristics. The terminal is RoHS and ELV compliant, UL listed, and CSA certified, making it suitable for commercial applications in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics where robust electrical connections are required.
