DESCRIPTION

The 5-146278-2 is a single-row, unshrouded breakaway header from the AMPMODU Interconnection System, designed for creating reliable board-to-board connections. It features phosphor bronze posts on a .100 inch centerline within a high-temperature, black glass-filled thermoplastic housing rated 94V-0. The posts have a total length of .318 inches , a mating length of .200 inches , and a solder tail length of .125 inches . The contacts feature duplex plating with .000030 inches of gold on the contact area and tin-lead on the solder tail over a nickel underplate. Designed for versatility, these breakaway headers can be sized as needed and are suitable for surface-mount compatible processes, making them ideal for applications requiring parallel board stacking.
