DESCRIPTION

MSSA214N is a DPDT (double-pole, double-throw) instrumentation-grade slide switch manufactured by TE Connectivity/Alcoswitch. It features silver contacts with a contact rating of 3 A at 115 VAC and 1.5 A at 230 VAC, with an initial contact resistance of 20 milliohms maximum and non-shorting contact timing. The switch operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C (operating) and -40°C to +100°C (storage), with an insulation resistance of 1,000 megohms at 500 VDC minimum and dielectric strength of 500 volts RMS at sea level. It delivers an actuation force of 600 ±300 grams with an actuator travel of approximately 0.120 inches (3.05 mm) and supports up to 30,000 cycles of operation. This switch is ideal for instrumentation applications, control panels, and precision electronic equipment requiring reliable switching performance.
