DESCRIPTION

The 5120523-2 is a 1.0 mm free height (FH) IEEE 1386 receptacle connector designed for parallel board-to-board stacking applications with 84 positions and 1.0 mm pitch. It features improved locating posts that enable fast and highly accurate hand placement of connectors on printed circuit boards, with enhanced clearance during mating to allow registration misalignment and eliminate stress on solder joints. The connector is rated for 1.0 ampere per contact with a maximum contact resistance of 30 milliohms (initial) and has been tested to a minimum of 100 mating cycles for durability. Available with 30 µ" or 50 µ" gold plating options and compatible with vacuum placement equipment, this receptacle is ideal for compact, high-density interconnect applications in consumer electronics, telecommunications, and industrial equipment requiring reliable board-to-board connections.
