DESCRIPTION

The 499910-2 is a 14-position universal AMP-LATCH header assembly designed for reliable board-to-board and wire-to-board connections. Its housing is constructed from black, 94V-0 rated glass-filled nylon or polyester, and the posts are made of brass. The contacts feature a localized plating of either 0.38μm minimum gold or gold flash over palladium-nickel, with tin-lead plated solder tails over a nickel underplate. This through-hole header has a 2.54 mm pitch and is designed for mounting on a 1.57 mm thick printed circuit board. A single slot for a snap-in polarizer (military polarization) ensures secure and correct mating in various electronic systems.
