DESCRIPTION

487973-1 is an FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) receptacle connector housing designed for wire-to-board connections with 10 positions and a 1.27 mm (0.05 inch) centerline pitch. The connector features a slimline design with socket-type contacts, black polyester housing, and a latch-based mating mechanism with polarization alignment. It is rated for 300 VAC dielectric withstanding voltage, 5000 MO insulation resistance, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with UL 94V-0 flame retardant certification. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, reliable FFC interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and data communication devices where space constraints and signal integrity are important.
