DESCRIPTION

The 42547-2 is a machine-applied open barrel ring tongue terminal designed for electrical connections in low-voltage applications. It accommodates 26–22 AWG wire (0.12–0.4 mm² cross-section) and features a stud hole size of 0.254–0.256 mm² (approximately 0.4 mm diameter equivalent). The terminal is constructed from tin-plated brass with a stock thickness of 0.36 mm and dimensions of 4.85 mm width, 3.30 mm length, and 1.90 mm height. This terminal type is commonly used in automotive, telecommunications, and industrial control systems where reliable crimped connections to PCB studs or terminal posts are required, offering excellent corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity through its tin-plated brass composition.
