DESCRIPTION

The 42142-2 is a SHUR-PLUG receptacle terminal designed for reliable machine-applied connections. It is constructed from brass and accommodates a wire size range of 18-14 AWG (0.9–2.0 mm²). This terminal is suitable for wires with an insulation diameter between .130 and .175 inches (3.30–4.45 mm). With a stock thickness of .016 inches, it is commonly used in wiring harnesses for applications in trucks, buses, marine, and off-highway vehicles.
