DESCRIPTION

330379 is a pre-insulated butt splice designed for high-temperature applications in the STRATO-THERM product line by TE Connectivity/AMP. This splice accommodates wire sizes from 14 to 12 AWG (3,831–6,654 circular mils or 1.94–3.37 mm²) and features a maximum length of 1.781 inches (45.24 mm) with a blue metallic sleeve for color identification. The splice body is constructed from copper per ASTM B152 with nickel plating per QQ-N-290, rated for continuous operation at 550°F (288°C), and the insulation is made from Teflon for superior thermal stability. This product is commonly used in aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications where reliable electrical connections must withstand extreme heat, vibration, and corrosion in demanding environments.
