DESCRIPTION

The TE500B820RJ is a high-power tubular resistor from the TE Series, designed for stability and reliability in demanding applications. It features a mullite-coated ceramic core and a corrugated ribbon element for rapid cooling, enabling a power rating of 500W in free air. This resistor has a resistance value of 820 Ohms with a 5% tolerance and a temperature coefficient within ±440ppm/°C. Its flameproof construction allows it to operate in a temperature range from -25°C to +225°C and withstand a 3x overload for 5 seconds. Designed for heavy-duty machinery and electrical equipment, it is well-suited for applications such as capacitor charging/discharging, load test simulation, and motor start/stop cycles.
