DESCRIPTION

3-1586040-2 is a vertical PCB mount header designed for wire-to-board power connections. This fully shrouded rectangular connector features 2 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 4.2 mm centerline pitch and gold-plated contact mating areas for reliable electrical performance. The header supports a maximum contact current rating of 9 A and an operating voltage of 600 VAC, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Constructed with brass alloy contacts and nylon housing, it utilizes through-hole solder termination with boardlock retention for secure PCB mounting. This connector is ideal for power circuit applications requiring robust wire-to-board connections with keyed mating alignment and locking tab retention.
