DESCRIPTION

2842168-8 is an 8-position, 2 mm pitch PCB mount header designed for board-to-board connector applications. This partially shrouded header features a 2-row configuration with right angle PCB mount orientation and through-hole solder termination. The connector utilizes brass contacts with gold plating (0.76 µm) on the mating area and nickel underplating, supporting a maximum contact current rating of 2 A and operating voltage of 125 VAC. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and UL 94V-0 flammability rating, this header is suitable for signal circuit applications in various electronic assemblies requiring reliable board-to-board interconnections.
