DESCRIPTION

2828454-2 is a clockable keyed, sealed, shotgun-vented right-angle connector housing module designed for PCB mounting applications. The housing features electroless nickel plating (0.025 min per AMS-C-26074, Grade A, Class 4) with gold-over-nickel contact plating (1.27µm min Au over 1.02µm min Ni). The module supports 16 possible keying variations with key rotation in 45° increments, and includes a secondary keying feature at 45° or 315°. It mates with X-2828999-2 connectors and features a 5mm diameter ground pad on both sides of the PCB. The housing is constructed from aluminum 6061 with stainless steel passivated hardware, including 4-40 UNC hexalobular flat head screws. This connector module is ideal for applications requiring secure, keyed connections with ESD protection and positive retention.
