DESCRIPTION

The 2-5177986-6 is a 140-position, 0.8mm pitch vertical plug designed for high-density, parallel board-to-board stacking. This 7mm plug features brass contacts with a duplex plating of 8µ" gold on the contact area and tin on the solder tails, over a nickel underplate. The housing is constructed from a high-temperature thermoplastic with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. This connector is part of a system that allows for various stacking heights (7mm, 11mm, and 15mm) and is supplied in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly, making it ideal for compact electronic devices.
