DESCRIPTION

The 2355181-8 is an AMPMODU 2 mm breakaway header connector designed for reliable board-to-board and wire-to-board connectivity solutions. This connector family occupies 38 percent less PCB space compared to standard 2.54 mm centerline headers, enabling increased functionality on compact boards. It features a maximum current rating of 2A, dielectric withstanding voltage of 650VAC, and operating voltage of 125VDC or 125VAC RMS, with phosphor bronze contacts housed in high-temperature LCP plastic (UL94 VO, low halogen). The connector operates reliably across -40°C to 105°C (tin plated) or -40°C to 125°C (gold plated) and is reflow capable up to 260°C, supporting automated surface mounting, through-hole-reflow, and traditional through-hole assembly methods. These breakaway headers are intermateable with other major brand receptacles and are ideal for industrial applications including PLC/IO devices, servo drives, material handling equipment, building automation, robotics, and instrumentation systems.
