DESCRIPTION

The 2316104-8 is a crimp snap-in receptacle with positive latch from TE Connectivity's AMPMODU 2 mm interconnection system, engineered for reliable miniature connections in space-constrained applications. This receptacle features a Liquid Crystal Polymer housing (UL 94V0, black) with phosphor bronze contacts available in multiple plating options: 30µ" [0.76 µm] gold, 15µ" [0.38 µm] gold, 4µ" [0.1 µm] gold, or tin. The product is rated for a maximum voltage of 125 Vrms and maximum current of 2 A, with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +105°C for tin plating and -40°C to +125°C for gold plating. The connector exhibits excellent durability with 250 mating cycles for 30µ" gold plating and 100 cycles for 15µ" gold plating, along with a contact retention force of 10 N minimum in wire receptacles. This receptacle is ideal for demanding applications requiring reliable signal transfer, compact board space utilization, and consistent performance across wide temperature ranges.
