DESCRIPTION

The 2271679-2 is a DTC 2.5 TE screw-type terminal block designed for electrical connections in industrial and control applications. It features a 2-in-2-out configuration with a rated current of 20A at 300V per UL standards (or 24A at 500V per IEC 60947-7-1), and an impulse withstand voltage of 6kV. The terminal block accommodates wire sizes from 28-12 AWG (UL) or 0.08-2.5mm² (IEC), with a wire strip length of 8-10mm and M2.6 screw terminals requiring 4-4.5 lbs-in (0.46-0.52Nm) torque. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic with copper alloy terminals (tin-plated) and zinc-plated steel clamps and screws, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. This terminal block is ideal for panel-mount applications, control cabinets, and industrial automation systems where reliable screw-based wire termination is required.
