DESCRIPTION

The 2-2369516-1 is a heavy-duty sealed connector from the TE Connectivity Heavy Duty Sealed Connector Series designed for AMP MCP contact systems with 2 to 18 positions. It features receptacle contacts made of CuNiSi or CuSn4 material with either silver-plated or tin-plated finishes, supporting wire sizes of 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² with ETFE insulation. The connector is engineered for demanding automotive and industrial applications, including engine/gearbox and chassis-mounted installations, with contact temperature rise specifications maintained below 40 K under rated current loads. The connector meets stringent mechanical and electrical requirements including vibration testing per ISO 16750-3 and ISO 8092-2, mechanical shock testing per ISO 16750-3, and electrical specifications such as contact resistance below 5 mO initially and below 10 mO after thermal or chemical stress, with insulation resistance exceeding 10? O.
