DESCRIPTION

2213600-4 is a CoolSplice large wire connector from TE Connectivity designed for push button termination of larger wire sizes ranging from 12 AWG to 18 AWG (0.75mm² to 4.0mm²). This gel-filled sealed connector features insulation displacement technology (IDC) that eliminates the need to pre-strip wires, with independent left and right side push button termination for easy factory or field installation. The connector supports current ratings up to 20A at 600V for 12 AWG wire and offers IP20, IPX5, IPX7, and IPX8 ratings for ingress protection. It operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 75°C and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Common applications include outdoor lighting (roadway, street, area, signs, architectural, bridge and tunnel), indoor lighting fixtures, and wiring harness field repair.
