DESCRIPTION
2170782-2 is a 1x4 QSFP28/56 and zQSFP+ interconnect cage designed for through-bezel mounting applications. This cage features EMI gasket suppression technology to provide superior signal integrity and electromagnetic interference protection at data rates up to 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4. The product supports single, dual, and quad channel implementations and is backwards compatible with QSFP+ cables and transceivers, enabling a simple upgrade path from 10 Gbps to 28 Gbps and 56 Gbps. The cage is designed to industry standard SFF-8663 specifications and is commonly used in network switches, servers, routers, and wireless base stations for 50, 100, and 200 Gigabit Ethernet, 100 Gbps InfiniBand Enhanced Data Rate, and 128G Fibre Channel applications.
