DESCRIPTION

The 2-1565086-3 is a GRACE INERTIA cap housing connector designed for wire-to-wire applications with a 3.5 mm centerline spacing and 3-position configuration. It features an inertia locking mechanism that simultaneously completes the circuit and locks the connector, preventing unintended disconnection and helping eliminate human error during assembly. The connector incorporates dual beam contact design for reliable contact and durability, lanceless contacts to prevent snagging, and an ergonomic design for easy assembly. With a current rating of 7 A, voltage rating of 300 VAC, and support for wire sizes 26–18 AWG, this connector is suitable for appliance and industrial applications requiring robust, reliable mating. Optional double lock plates (TPA devices) are available to enhance connection security in demanding environments.
