DESCRIPTION

2-1437021-6 is a female socket transition connector assembly designed for terminating 28 or 30 AWG stranded PVC insulated flat ribbon cable. The connector features 2 contacts with a 2.54 mm (0.100 inch) pitch and is rated for 1 ampere continuous current. The assembly includes contact finishes of 0.00127 mm minimum nickel on the entire contact with 0.00254–0.00508 mm bright tin lead on the termination end and 0.00127 mm minimum gold on the mating area. The connector provides insulation resistance greater than 1×10? ohms at 500 VDC and dielectric withstanding voltage greater than 500 VRMS at sea level. This connector is commonly used in ribbon cable interconnect applications requiring reliable, compact transitions with strain relief packaged separately.
