DESCRIPTION

2118719-2 is a two-piece board level shielding (BLS) cover component manufactured by TE Connectivity designed to provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) isolation and minimize crosstalk in compact electronic devices. The cover features a material thickness of 0.15 mm with dimensions of 32.50 x 32.50 x 2.00 mm, constructed from stainless steel, galvanized steel, pre-plated cold rolled steel (CRS), or aluminum material with a minimum inner bending radius of 0.10 mm and a pitch of dimples at 3.0 mm minimum. The component exhibits a co-planarity specification of 0.08 mm (size dependent) and is supplied in bulk/bag packaging with 3000 pieces per box. This shielding solution is ideal for applications requiring board-level EMI suppression in mobile devices, tablets, routers, wireless speakers, IoT devices, and other consumer electronics where space constraints and electromagnetic compatibility are critical design considerations.
