DESCRIPTION

2098372-1 is an EVC 500 Main Contactor designed for high voltage DC applications in automotive and battery systems. It features a SPST-NO-DM contact arrangement with a 12VDC coil (requiring external economizer), rated operating voltage of 465VDC, and coil resistance of 3.14O. The contactor supports a continuous carry current of 500A at 85°C and limiting short-time currents up to 2000A for 15 seconds, with mechanical life exceeding 500,000 cycles. The hermetically sealed and UL approved design makes it ideal for main contactors in hybrid, full battery electric vehicles, fuel-cell cars, and battery charging systems.
