DESCRIPTION

205857-1 is a 25-position D-subminiature plug connector designed for right-angle PCB mounting in the HDP-20 series. The connector features a front metal shell (Size 3) with a footprint of 13.84 mm (0.545 in) and is mounted through thru-hole technology with a PCB thickness of 0.062 in (1.57 mm). The contact mating area is gold-flashed brass with square contact geometry, and the solder tail contacts are tin-lead plated over nickel with a post length of 3.18 mm (0.125 in). The shell is constructed from steel with tin plating and thermoplastic housing rated UL 94V-0, ensuring reliable performance in standard applications. This connector is wave solder capable up to 265°C and is ELV compliant, making it suitable for industrial and commercial electronic equipment requiring robust D-subminiature connectivity.
