DESCRIPTION

1971781-1 is a standard receptacle contact designed for the TE Connectivity POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector system, engineered to accommodate 14 AWG (2.1 mm²) wire sizes. This receptacle operates at a standard temperature rating of 105°C and features tin-plated copper alloy contacts for reliable electrical performance. The contact is constructed from thermoplastic housing materials meeting UL 94V-0 standards and glow wire test requirements per IEC 60335-1. With a voltage rating of 600 VAC/VDC and current capacity up to 12 amps maximum, this receptacle is suitable for power and signal applications requiring secure, three-point locking mechanisms. The product integrates seamlessly with the POWER TRIPLE LOCK family's connector position assurance (CPA) and terminal position assurance (TPA) devices, providing enhanced reliability for industrial and commercial power distribution applications.
