DESCRIPTION

177983-2 is a 0.8mm free height (FH) connector receptacle designed for high-density board-to-board stacking applications. This 60-position receptacle is available with multiple stack height options (5mm through 16mm in 1mm increments) and features polarized locating posts for secure alignment. The connector offers both 8 microinch and 30 microinch gold plating options, with RoHS-compliant variants available, making it suitable for demanding environments in computer, telecommunications, industrial, and military/aerospace applications. The receptacle is available in tube, tube with pickup cap, and tape-and-reel packaging formats, providing flexibility for different manufacturing and assembly requirements.
