DESCRIPTION

1744428-4 is a right-angle header connector from TE Connectivity's Economy Power II product line, designed for single-row wire-to-board connections in appliances requiring Glow Wire compliance and UL 94 V-0 flammability ratings. The connector features a 0.156" (3.96 mm) centerline spacing, lance-less phosphor bronze pre-tinned terminals, and supports wire sizes from 0.26 to 1.33 mm² (22 to 16 AWG) with electrical ratings of 600 VAC and 11.5 A. It incorporates housing locking latches, polarization tabs, asymmetrical terminal design for single-way loading, and probe tip windows for continuity testing, with optional breakaway or discrete Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) devices available. The connector operates reliably across -55°C to +105°C and is molded in UL 94 V-0 material, making it ideal for safety-critical home appliance applications where Glow Wire test compliance per IEC 60335-1 and UL 94 V-0 standards is required.
