DESCRIPTION

The 1658620-3 is a 16-position Novo receptacle connector intended for fast and economical wire-to-board connections using .050 inch pitch ribbon cable. It features a .100 x .100 inch mating grid and utilizes tuning fork style contacts made from phosphor bronze. The contacts are duplex plated with .000015 inches of gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end over a nickel underplate. The housing and cover are constructed from black, UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic, providing military-style polarization. This connector accepts a wire size range of 28-26 AWG and is suitable for a wide variety of one-step tooling applications.
