DESCRIPTION

1616986-6 is a chassis mount power switching DC contactor from the HARTMAN K400 Series, designed for high-current switching applications up to 400 A at 28 VDC. It features one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) main contact configuration with a rupture current rating of 4000 A and maximum voltage drop of 150 mV. The contactor operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +70°C and is electronically economized for reduced power consumption, with a pickup voltage of 18 VDC nominal and inrush current of 12 A maximum. With a mechanical life of 100,000 cycles and weight of 1.88 to 2 lb (854 to 908 g), this contactor meets applicable requirements of MIL-PRF-6106M. Common applications include aerospace, defense, and marine systems requiring reliable high-performance power switching.
