DESCRIPTION

160759-7 is an uninsulated quick disconnect receptacle terminal designed for reliable electrical connections in discrete wire applications. This Positive Lock 250 series terminal features a phosphor bronze contact base material with an open barrel F-crimp design, accommodating wire sizes from 0.51 to 1.65 mm² (20-15 AWG). The receptacle mates with 6.35 mm (.25 in) wide tabs of 0.81 mm (.032 in) thickness, with a dimple retention type providing extraction forces between 0.7 and 10.2 kgf. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to 110°C, this terminal is suitable for automotive, industrial, and general electrical applications requiring secure, low insertion force connections.
