DESCRIPTION

1600788-1 is a MULTI-BEAM XL STR Series cable receptacle assembly featuring a 2P/24S/2P configuration, designed for blind-mateable board-to-board power distribution systems. The connector utilizes high temperature thermoplastic housing rated UL 94V-0 and features power contacts with 30 microinches gold over 50 microinches nickel plating on mating surfaces for high reliability. The STR (Squeeze-to-Release) series is designed for removable cable-to-board and I/O applications. This connector is ideal for modular hot-swappable power distribution systems including computer servers, networking equipment, telecommunication switches, medical instrumentation, and industrial control equipment. The product is RoHS compliant and meets SSI power connector requirements.
