DESCRIPTION

1586984-1 is a Universal MATE-N-LOK PCB mount header designed for wire-to-board power connections with 9 fully loaded positions arranged in a 3×3 matrix configuration. The connector features a 6.35 mm (0.25 in) centerline pitch, fully shrouded rectangular housing made of nylon, and pre-tinned phosphor bronze contacts with nickel underplating for reliable mating. It operates at up to 600 VAC with a maximum contact current rating of 12 A per pin, supporting 1000 W power applications, and maintains performance across an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The header is mounted vertically to the PCB via through-hole solder termination with 1.57 mm diameter posts, and includes polarization and locking tab retention features for secure mating. This connector is ideal for industrial power distribution, control systems, and equipment requiring robust, high-current wire-to-board interconnections with compliance to UL and VDE standards.
